Book a 20-min call What I actually do

Hey Memphis — okay so you've landed on another consulting page, I get it. Probably seen a bunch of them by now, all promising the moon with buzzwords you don't really care about. Well, I'm gonna try and do things a little different here. I'm A.I. Consulting LLC, based out of Florida, and I work with businesses like yours, including quite a few here in Memphis, Tennessee, to help them actually use their data to make better decisions. No big sales teams, no fancy presentations. Just me, and a conversation about what you need. I know your time's valuable, so I'll get straight to it: this isn't about selling you a 'digital transformation journey'. It's about figuring out what data you have, what questions you need answered, and then building something practical to get you those answers. Maybe you're swimming in spreadsheets, or your current reports just aren't cutting it. That's where I come in.

## What I actually do for Memphis clients

When a Memphis business owner comes to me with a data problem, it usually boils down to wanting to understand something better or automate a repetitive task. For example, I might help a small manufacturing firm here in Memphis set up a dashboard that shows them their production bottlenecks in real-time, pulling data from various machines and systems that don't usually talk to each other. Or, I could build a predictive model for a local retail store to forecast inventory needs based on past sales and upcoming events.

Another common project is just getting all your scattered data into one place that makes sense. Think about pulling sales data from your CRM, marketing data from your ad platforms, and website traffic from Google Analytics, then building a single view where you can see how everything impacts your bottom line. It's about making your data work for you, not the other way around. I'm not here to install some massive, expensive system; I'm here to build focused solutions that deliver clear value.

## How a Memphis engagement usually goes

1. **First chat (1-2 days):** We start with a quick call, maybe 20-30 minutes. You tell me what's on your mind, what problem you're trying to solve with data, and what you've tried so far. I'll ask some questions to get a clearer picture. No charge for this, obviously. It's just to see if there's a good fit.

2. **Discovery & Proposal (1-2 weeks):** If it sounds like I can genuinely help, I'll put together a more detailed scope. This might involve looking at some of your existing data sources (securely, of course), understanding your business processes, and defining the specific outcomes you're looking for. Then I'll send over a fixed-price proposal with a clear timeline. I don't do hourly billing for projects because I think fixed-price is fairer for you. This phase is also often fixed-fee, especially if it's a bit more involved.

3. **The Work (3-8 weeks, typically):** Once you approve the proposal, I get to work. This usually involves connecting to your data sources, cleaning and organizing the data, building the models or dashboards, and then testing everything thoroughly. I'll check in regularly, showing you progress and getting your feedback to make sure it's heading in the right direction.

4. **Delivery & Handover (Ongoing support if needed):** I deliver the solution, whether it's a report, a dashboard, an automated process, or a custom application. I'll make sure you and your team know how to use it, and I'll stick around for a few weeks afterward to answer questions and make any minor tweaks. If you need ongoing support or further development, we can discuss a separate arrangement for that.

## What it costs, roughly

Okay, so this is always the tricky part without knowing the specifics, but I want to be upfront. Most of my project-based work, the kind where I'm building something specific for you, tends to fall in the mid-four to low-five figures. We're talking anywhere from, say, $5,000 for a straightforward dashboard setup to maybe $25,000 for a more complex data integration and predictive model. I always give you a fixed-fee quote for the whole project, so there are no surprises. You'll know exactly what you're paying before I start, and what you're getting for it. I don't like hidden fees, and I'm sure you don't either.

## Who I'm usually NOT a fit for

I'm just one person, and I'm pretty particular about who I work with to make sure I can actually deliver value. I'm usually not the right fit for very large corporations that need a whole team of consultants and have procurement processes that take months. If you're looking for someone to build a custom ERP system from scratch, that's also not me. My sweet spot is small to medium-sized businesses in Memphis and beyond, often owner-operated, who need specific data problems solved without all the overhead of a big consulting firm. I also don't take on projects where the data isn't really there, or where the business problem isn't clearly defined. I need to be able to make a tangible impact, not just generate reports no one will use.

FAQs — Memphis

How do I know if data analytics is worth it for my Memphis business?

If you're making important decisions based on gut feelings, or if you spend hours manually compiling reports, chances are data analytics could help. I can help you identify specific areas where understanding your data better could lead to clearer insights and better outcomes.

Do you only work with businesses in Memphis, Tennessee?

While I enjoy working with local businesses, my services are entirely remote, so I can work with clients anywhere. I do have a number of satisfied clients right here in Memphis, but I serve businesses across the US.

What does the first 2 weeks of a project look like?

After our initial chat, the first couple of weeks are usually focused on discovery. I'll be reviewing your current data sources, understanding your business processes, and working with you to clearly define the project goals and expected outcomes before I even start building anything.

Do I need to have my data perfectly organized before contacting you?

Absolutely not. Many clients come to me because their data isn't perfectly organized! Part of what I do is help you bring order to your data chaos. Just knowing where your data lives is a great start.

What kind of ongoing support do you offer after a project is finished?

Once a project is delivered, I typically provide a few weeks of post-launch support to iron out any minor issues and answer questions. For longer-term needs, we can discuss a separate, tailored maintenance or support agreement.
