Machine Learning & Data Science Consulting for Livermore Businesses

Book a 20-min call What I actually do

Hey Livermore — so you're probably on a bunch of these city-specific pages right now, trying to figure out if some consultant out there actually 'gets' your business. And yeah, I know, most of 'em sound kinda the same. Big promises, vague results. I'm not really into that.

I'm A.I. Consulting LLC, just me, and I help businesses in places like Livermore make sense of their data and maybe, just maybe, use a bit of machine learning to make things run a little smoother or clearer. I'm not here to sell you on a 'future-proof' anything. I'm here to solve a specific problem you have today, with the data you've got.

So if you’re a local business owner in Livermore and you’ve been thinking about your customer data, or your inventory, or how you might predict demand a bit better – but you’re not sure where to even start with all the AI talk – you’re in the right place. I keep it pretty straightforward.

## What I actually do for Livermore clients

Okay so, most of my work for businesses in and around Livermore boils down to a couple of things. Sometimes, it's taking a big, messy pile of data you've got – maybe sales figures, customer interactions, website traffic – and making it actually tell you something useful. That's the data science part. It's about finding patterns, understanding what's happening, and spotting opportunities you might be missing. I'll build you a dashboard, or a report, or just sit down and walk you through what the numbers say.

Other times, it's about building a small, focused machine learning model. Think something that predicts which customers are most likely to buy again, or helps forecast inventory so you're not overstocking, or even automates a tedious data entry task. I usually start with a pilot project – something small enough to prove the value without a huge commitment, then we can decide if it makes sense to expand it. I'm not gonna build you a Skynet, I'm gonna build you a tool that helps with your day-to-day operations.

## How a Livermore engagement usually goes

1. **Initial Chat (Week 1):** We'll have a 20-30 minute call. You tell me what's bothering you, what data you think you have, and what you *wish* your data could tell you. I'll ask some questions, and if it sounds like something I can actually help with, we move to step two. If not, I'll honestly tell you. 2. **Deep Dive & Proposal (Weeks 2-3):** I'll get a bit more access to your current data (securely, of course) and dig in a little to understand the scope. I'll then put together a detailed, fixed-fee proposal outlining exactly what I'll deliver, what data I need, and a timeline. No surprises here. 3. **The Work & Check-ins (Weeks 4-12, usually):** This is where I build whatever we agreed on – the data analysis, the model, the automation. I'll keep you updated regularly, usually with weekly check-ins, so you always know where things stand. My goal is to be transparent. 4. **Delivery & Handoff (End of Project):** I deliver the solution, provide any necessary documentation, and make sure you understand how to use it. I can also help with integration, or setting up ongoing monitoring if that’s part of the plan. My aim is for you to be self-sufficient, or at least understand what you've got.

## What it costs, roughly

Okay, so pricing. I work mostly on a fixed-fee project basis because I think it's fairer to everyone. You know upfront what you're paying for and what you're getting. For smaller data analysis projects or pilot machine learning models, you're usually looking at a few thousand dollars. More complex engagements, or projects that require ongoing support, can certainly be more, but we'll always agree on a clear scope and price before any work begins. I'm not a fan of open-ended hourly billing where costs can just spiral. My goal is to provide real value without breaking the bank for a Livermore small business.

## Who I'm usually NOT a fit for

I'm not gonna pretend I'm the right fit for everyone. If you're a massive corporation with a huge data science department already, I'm probably not your guy. I don't do 'big data' infrastructure builds, or manage huge teams of engineers. Also, if you're looking for someone to build you something super complicated and vague with no clear business problem attached, I'll probably politely decline. I like working with businesses that have a specific problem they want to solve, and are willing to share their data to do it. And I really don't do anything unethical with AI – no surveillance tech or anything that compromises privacy, just good, honest data work.

## Getting in touch

If any of this sounds like it might help your business in Livermore, I'd genuinely like to hear from you. The easiest way to figure out if I can help is to just have a quick chat. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just a conversation to see if there's a good fit. Go ahead and book a 20-min call, and let's talk about your data.

FAQs — Livermore

How do I know if AI is worth it for my Livermore business?

Usually, if you have data you're not using, or if you're doing repetitive tasks that involve looking at numbers, there's a good chance AI or data science could help. We can talk through your specific situation in a quick call.

Do you work with companies outside Livermore?

Yes, I do. While I focus on helping local businesses, I’m set up to work remotely with clients across the country. My process is designed to be efficient whether you're down the street or a few states away.

What does the first 2 weeks look like?

The first two weeks usually involve an initial introductory call, followed by a deeper dive into your data and business needs. By the end of this period, I'll typically have a clear project proposal ready for your review.

I don't have a lot of data. Can you still help?

Sometimes. The amount of data needed depends on the problem. Even a small amount of focused data can sometimes yield useful insights. We can explore what data you do have and see if it’s sufficient for your goals.

What kind of commitment is required from my side?

Mainly, I need your time for initial conversations, access to your relevant data, and someone on your team who can answer questions about your business processes. Clear communication is key for a successful project.

Want to see if we're a fit?

20 minutes, no deck. If I can't help I'll point you at someone who can.
